Hello 2026! I drew this last July but better late than never! I’ve learned so much about myself in 2025. I had attended a speedmentoring event, and a mentor’s statement really triggered me: “People either are struggling what to focus on or they have decided exactly what they want, and struggle with giving themselves permission to go for it.”
It took me so long to call myself an artist. I’ve been drawing since I was 7. I put the mask on of being a graphic designer, brand & marketing manager, yet I struggled to call myself an artist. If you create something with your hands, your body, your senses, YOU ARE AN ARTIST.
It’s so easy to put on a mask (especially if you’re neurodivergent) and do what is expected of you, what everyone asks of you, what you “should be” or “should do” in life. What does taking off that mask look like for you?
